Camden Haven IT – Service Terms & Conditions

1. Service & Estimates

  • We provide diagnostics, hardware repairs, networking, and software support on-site and remotely.

  • Any price indications given over the phone or via messaging are estimates based on initial descriptions. Final pricing depends on actual on-site diagnosis and required parts.

2. Mandatory Repair Notice (Australian Consumer Law)

  • The repair of products capable of storing user-generated data (such as computers, laptops, hard drives, and mobile devices) may result in the loss of that data.

  • While Camden Haven IT takes every reasonable precaution to protect customer information, you are strongly advised to back up all important files, photos, and software before work commences. Camden Haven IT accepts no liability for loss of data, programs, or configurations during diagnostic or repair procedures.

3. Payment Terms

  • Residential on-site services are payable strictly upon completion of the visit via EFTPOS, credit/debit card, or cash.

  • Hardware orders (routers, drives, computer components) require full or partial deposit prior to dispatch from suppliers.

  • Invoices for approved commercial business accounts must be settled within the agreed invoice terms (typically 7 days).

4. Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled without fee up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or instances where the technician attends the premises and access is unavailable, may incur a call-out fee to cover scheduled travel and time.

5. Uncollected Goods

  • Hardware left in our possession for bench repair or diagnosis that remains unpaid or uncollected after 60 days will be disposed of or recycled in accordance with the Uncollected Goods Act 1995 (NSW).
